This paper presents an analysis of RLC and LC filters for dv/dt Mitigation in SiC Inverter Systems with High-Frequency Cable Modeling. High dv/dt generated by fast-switching SiC inverter can lead to overvoltage issues caused by voltage reflection, which may degrade insulation and damage the system. The RLC and LC filters are designed based on cable modeling to mitigate these problems. This approach allows optimized parameter selection to suppress the dv/dt and reduce overvoltage effectively. The validity of the filter design to suppress overvoltage by reducing a dv/dt is verified through simulations results.
