This paper presents a duty ratio control method for high-speed operation of a single-phase inverter system with a resonant capacitor. The operating principles and characteristics of single-phase inverter system with a floating capacitor are analyzed. The necessity of an control approach in the high-speed region is identified based on analyzed systems. A controller structure reflecting the inherent characteristics of the single-phase inverter is systematically illustrated. The performance and validity of the proposed control method are verified through simulation results.
