This paper proposes a simple and effective method to improve the dynamic response of permanent magnet synchronous motor
(PMSM) using a fuzzy control algorithm for direct torque control (DTC). The paper proposes a new method by using a fuzzy control
algorithm for determining the duty ratio. The proposed method can improve dynamic response of DTC-PMSM compared with
conventional system. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.
