SRM asymmetric bridge converter
  A drive circuit of an SRM requires the conditions which are appropriately applying the phase voltage to the stator side according to the rotor position, limiting or constantly maintaining the current magnitude of the excited phase, and current arc extinction of the excited phase. In the case of asymmetric bridge converter, the operation modes can be classified into the excitation mode, feedback mode, and reduction mode; while it is independently controllable in the high speed region since all the phases are insulated, it is suitable for the high voltage large power because the rated voltage of the switch is low by using two switch devices for each phase.
